Dr. Bobbie Kumar is a board-certified family physician with over a decade of clinical experience primary and urgent care, hospital medicine and transitional care management. For Vituity, she serves as a Director of Complex Care Management, leading many of Vituity’s population health programs including Transitional Care and CMS’ Bundled Payment for Care Improvement. Her current focus has been on development of innovative patient care delivery practices by leveraging technology to improve patient outcomes. She also leads many of Vituity’s AI programs for multiple specialties with our external tech partners in developing disease management algorithms. Her previous experience includes obtaining Level III PCMH certification for her primary care practice and opening a post-discharge clinic for her residency program at Memorial/Mercer University Medical Center. She received her MBA from Auburn University and currently serves as a key opinion leader for Philips Healthcare’s COPD Insider – redefining care delivery through patient care navigation for at-risk patients.
